The Magula family's Frankovkas are some of the most highly regarded in Slovakia. These are dark, intense, complex. They release their wines after long ageing in their cellars, and the latest 2018 launch has a nuanced, expressive personality. Frankovka, or also known as Blaüfrankisch, takes on a very Pinot Noir and Syrah like character with age. Expect earthiness, forest floor, dried rose petals, violet and a very smooth, velvety feel on the palate.
