Annamária is from Barabás in Hungary, the most Eastern part of the country right on the border with Ukraine - and a winemaker certainly taken on a strong following. A Change of Heart is 100% Kékfrankos, or Blaufränkisch, a beautiful expression of this variety that usually sees highly extracted wines in the country. Light footed yet with a haunting character of dark fruit with violets on the rim, and a crunchy drinkability. We feel Kékfrankos is the answer to Syrah and aged Pinot Noir of Central Europe.
