It comes from three old mixed plantings in the Bočky vineyard. Blend of Riesling Vlašský, Frühroter Veltliner, Veltlínské Zelené, Neuburger, Riesling, Müller Thurgau and Moravian Muscat. All grapes were harvested at the same time, both early and medium late ripening varieties. Grapes were crushed by foot stomping, and then allowed to ferment spontaneously and macerate for about two weeks. After the wines are pressed using a traditional basket press and rested for 10 months. No fining, filtration or any added sulphur dioxide.
The wine opens up beautifully once decanted, and can be had at 15-16 degrees.
Please note the vintage is now 2021.
